The Hampton County Sheriff’s Office will hold an Open House for the new substation in Estill on Wednesday, May 25. The event will begin at 11a.m. and continue throughout the day. This will be an opportunity for citizens to view the new location and also meet and greet Hampton County Sheriff T.C. Smalls. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend.
“This new location will allow my office to better serve those living in the Estill area of Hampton County,” Sheriff Smalls said. “It is important that we reach out to all areas of the county and serve the citizens in the best way possible. This substation will help us reach out to those in the outlying areas of the county.”
The new substation is located at 140 Martin Luther King Boulevard South in Estill. It will serve areas such as Estill, Garnett, Scotia, Lena, Furman and Luray.
