The Hampton County Detention Center would like to proudly announce the recent success of the Hampton County Adult Education Program. The H.C. Detention Center had its first inmate in history receive his GED at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center, in Charleston, on July 28, 2017. The HCDC is proud to honor David Cleland for his success and for finding the good in a bad situation.
